He has Triumphed

SCRIPTURE:
Revelation 5:5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.

OBSERVATION:
This is like the 'hero' showing up at just the right time in a movie, alleviating fears and giving hope. This hero -- JESUS -- has already triumphed and He is still on the scene alleviating my fears and giving me hope. I should be able to fully trust Jesus as my hero with my life.

APPLICATION:
Do I trust Jesus to be my hero today? Here? Now? With every part of my life? This is the question I should ask myself often.

PRAYER:
God. Thank you for being my hero. Teach me to trust you without fear. Thank you for the hope that you give me today.
